Are you overly self-critical, lonely or just plain 'stuck'?
Are you finding it difficult to find a balance between togetherness and separateness?
Are you concerned about failure, shame, or pressured to be someone your not?
Many people come to therapy with these types of challenges, struggling to resolve problems on their own. Sometimes, as problems build or suddenly come at you all at once, a crisis forms making therapy a necessary last resort. No matter the intensity of your difficulty, lets address your challenges now before they make life even harder to manage later.
Individual counseling can help you take control of your lifeit's proven to be beneficial!
How our work might look at full circle therapy
Therapy offers you a regular time (a session) to think and talk about your life, yourself, your family, and those that are close to you. We might discuss:
- What's going on in your life right now
- What has happened in the past
- How does the past affect how you are feeling, thinking, and behaving now
I offer a safe and confidential environment where you can be yourself and explore concerns you wish to express. Within a professional therapeutic framework, we'll build our own unique way of working forming a relationship that helps to promote lasting change. We can reduce the stress of a specific problem, improve thinking patterns, strengthen your ability to manage problematic emotions, and develop caring relationships. The process honors and respects you, your pace and the meaning of the work.
I have helped many clients achieve positive results.
Whether you are in crisis, struggling with problems, or want to understand yourself more fully, I can be of help with a wide range of issues:
- Examine and interrupt destructive relationship patterns to make way for stronger connections, intimacy, and trust with your partner
- Develop a deeper understanding of the various ways you (man or woman) seek, find satisfaction, and fulfill your needs for intimacy in relationships
- Learn techniques for better communication, and build skills to resolve conflict more effectively
- Explore coping strategies that are no longer useful, and find new healthier ways to cope with difficulties in your life
- Develop tools to cope with hopelessness, worry, anger, and loss
- Heal from a painful breakup or divorce
- Address the challenges and begin to heal from growing up in a difficult/abusive family
- Process and cope more effectively with a traumatic experience or loss
- Build a stronger sense of self-worth and 'comfort in your own skin'
- Work with and manage chronic pain
Together we can work to reduce your suffering and improve your well-being.
